Project case studies
Here are some of the projects where we’ve applied our experience in coastal defenses, retaining systems and civil construction, across different countries in the region.

Coastal defenses · Panama
Brostella Novey Project
The original concrete wall collapsed under heavy wave action. We built a wall of synthetic sheet piles that reclaimed the lost ground and protects the property for the long term.
Punta Chame, Panama
Coastal protection · Panama
PH Condominio Punta Chame
Erosion and wave action were putting nearby infrastructure at risk. We installed retaining structures and applied controlled fill to stabilize the shoreline and reclaim the land. If your property faces a similar risk, you can contact us to have it assessed.

Retaining systems · Costa Rica
Excavation retention in Jaco
We implemented a steel sheet pile retaining system that ensures safety and stability during excavation, preventing collapse risks during construction.
River Mitigation and Urban Renewal Works – Limon, Costa Rica
A river stabilization project carried out in the province of Limon, Costa Rica, where the river’s constant rise was threatening homes, access roads and the safety of riverside communities.
Initial condition and risk assessment
Identification of critical zones vulnerable to river erosion and scouring. Safety perimeters are established to protect adjacent infrastructure —homes and roads— at imminent risk from the instability of the natural slope.
Phase 01 / 05
Phase 02 / 05
Riverbed excavation and preparation
Direct intervention with heavy machinery to clear the riverbank. Unstable material, sediment and collapsed barriers —such as old timber piling systems— are removed. The ground is graded and excavated to the foundation level needed for the new structural defenses, without disrupting the river’s natural flow.
Metal retaining system driving
Installation of the main retaining wall by driving interlocking steel sheet piles. Using long-reach excavators fitted with vibratory hammers, the metal profiles are driven deep into the riverbed. This continuous system creates a watertight barrier that is highly resistant to the push of water and earth, permanently stabilizing the slope.
Phase 03 / 05
Phase 04 / 05
Finishing welds and urban integration
Consolidation of the retaining structure and adaptation of the surrounding civil environment. Metal cap profiles (a capping beam) are installed and welded to tie the sheet piles together and distribute loads. At the same time, the project is integrated into the urban surroundings through the construction of sidewalks with tactile paving and the installation of pedestrian bridges, restoring safe connectivity to the community.
Testing and active resilience
The retaining system has already withstood high-flow events without overflowing. The channel carries stormwater and river water while keeping the roadway and adjacent residential areas protected.
